Find real landmarks
Google MediaPipe Face Landmarker detects the face in your image. No landmarks or scores are invented. If no face or multiple faces are detected, no score is shown.
ONE PHOTO. BOTH SIDES.
Your photo, measured privately in your browser. Never uploaded.
This face symmetry tester compares paired points across your facial midline. It measures the photo you provide, including the effects of pose, light and expression.
Google MediaPipe Face Landmarker detects the face in your image. No landmarks or scores are invented. If no face or multiple faces are detected, no score is shown.
We fit a line through forehead, nose-bridge and chin landmarks. For each selected left/right pair, we reflect one point across that line and measure its distance from the other.
For each pair: error = reflected-point distance ÷ pair separation. Feature score = 100 × max(0, 1 − mean pair error). Overall score is the equal-weight mean of the five feature scores, rounded to one decimal.
MediaPipe tasks-vision 0.10.32, float16 face_landmarker model revision 1. Midline anchors: 10, 168, 6, 152. Eye pairs: 33/263, 133/362, 159/386, 145/374. Eyebrow pairs: 70/300, 105/334, 107/336. Nose pairs: 98/327, 129/358. Mouth pairs: 61/291, 78/308, 82/312. Jaw pairs: 234/454, 172/397, 136/365.
Coordinates are scaled to image pixels before measuring. The midline is fitted by total least squares. Very small pair separations are rejected. A depth difference between outer eye corners greater than 0.30 of their 2D separation is rejected as a rough head-turn check. This is our heuristic, not a calibrated angle or clinical threshold.
This is a product-defined geometric similarity index, not a clinical scale, population percentile, or probability of symmetry. No published clinical validation is claimed. Retake a neutral, straight-on photo under the same conditions before comparing scores.
MediaPipe documentation ↗Upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or HEIF, up to 30 MB. HEIC/HEIF photos are converted locally when needed. Use a current Chrome, Edge or Safari browser. On phones, Use camera opens the device photo capture flow; on computers, it opens an inline camera preview. Camera access requires permission and a secure HTTPS connection.
Analysis and conversion stay on your device. Photos and results live only in this tab's memory and disappear when you reload or close it. There is no login, history, batch testing, printing or report export. There is no usage quota.
The detector starts loading in the background; your first test may wait for initialization. Later tests reuse it. We do not promise zero processing time.
Choose one sharp, front-facing photo with even lighting and a neutral expression. The test automatically produces an overall score, five feature scores and a midline overlay.
People sometimes use that phrase, but this tool measures left-right geometric balance only. It does not rate attractiveness, health or personal value.
Head turn, expression, camera distance, lighting and obstructions change the detected points. This is a measurement of one photo, not a permanent judgment of your face.
Yes. Choose a photo from your phone or use its camera, then view the score and each feature below the image. HEIC conversion happens in your browser.
Try a clearer, closer photo with one visible face, hair pulled away and no sunglasses. Unsupported or unreadable files show an error instead of a made-up result.
